Badawi telling people to speak the truth is like an ugly woman asking her husband to tell her the truth about her looks. Any husband worth his salt would know you are asking for trouble if you listen to her.

And that is the problem, Badawi is not only similarly inconsistent, he is behaving similarly womanly, indulgent, poor in leadership, spoilt by the comforts of establish rule and structure, and still wanting more but not willing to pay the price, yet still think other people should do more and owe them more, i.e. entitlement.

It is given Badawi is not the leader to oversee great changes but rather a caretaker. The best Malaysians can hope for is that he does not mess things up worst than his predecessor would have.

And there is one danger that he will leave a legacy that could be abused worst than his predecessor by sheer inertia. By entrenching the elected Sultanate system, he puts in danger the possibility of abuse by the truly ambitious. All it takes is someone mediocre but more ambitious and we would end up a basket case.

Everything else that Badawi does is irrelevant whether good or not.

I think if Lee Kuan Yew is given a free reign to govern Malaysia for just a single term, Malaysia will double its GDP, poverty will be cut by 50%, corruption will spiral down and our jail will be filled with Tun, Tan Sri and Datuk.

Of course it is just a dream but what a nightmare Malaysians are now suffering!

If we read the Malaysia Federal Constitution of 1957, we will not find the word "bumiputera" - hence some would say the origin of the word is grounded in the political agenda of some politicians to discriminate against citizens not of malay ethnicity.

In short there is no constitutional legitimacy in the use of the term "bumiputera" except for its purpose which is to discriminate for the sake of discriminating.

Some fifty years after independence from the British, the demographic profile of its population has changed. Most of the Chinese/Indians today are no longer foreign born, and through the principle of "jus soli" (Latin meaning "right of the soil") are citizens by birth.

The word "bumiputera" (Sanskrit meaning "son of the soil") which came into popular use after the riots of 1969, is a convenient term not grounded in the science of anthropology but in the politics of race - in other words its use is a convenient invention by malay politicians and malay leaders to justify the policies of Umno which dominated the ruling alliance, which came to be known as the New Economic Policy (NEP).

It could have been called "The Great Affirmative Action Policy" but the architects of the NEP are visionary leaders whose motives go beyond affirmative action.

It is not a coincidence that post-1969 saw the rise of business oriented leaders in Umno and the political demise of the malay school teachers whose hold over power in the party suffered a setback. The labeling is important as events many years later are to demonstrate to us that more is envisaged rather than just affirmative action.

Let there only be one class or let Malaysia be a nation of the "classless". Malaysians do not need a caste system like we find in India.

Enough is enough. The word "bumiputera" creates a class of Malaysians based not on ethnicity but on some dubious criteria with religion factored into it.

It is conceptualized for the convenience of policy makers who rode on the wave of malay nationalism unleashed after May 13, 1969 to maintain their position of power and influence.

The faster we do away with the word "bumiputera" the better it will be. The use of the term "bumiputera" post-1969, I submit, has less to do with affirmative action but more to do with politicians who see in it the opportunity to maintain their hold over power.

It is time power be handed over to a fresh breed of Malaysians who think less in terms of Malay, Indian and Chinese or "bumiputera" and "non-bumiputera" but more in terms of Malaysians of different ethnic descent.

But let us not lose our perspective. The United States has been independent for more than 200 years but is still today struggling with racism. Malaysia is still politically a toddler learning to walk. Success is about what happens when we fall rather than in the walking.

The truth hurts.

The Chinese or the yellow race is what brings progress. Just look at Asia……….is enough.

Whether they do it internationally or locally they will survive.

We can distinctly see the lowering of Malaysia standards of living as the percentage of Chinese in this country goes down.

In the 70s we were tops with 40 over percent of Chinese and today with only 25 percent we are far behind Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea.

Main reason is the number of such Chinese migrating to these countries - the best ones and rich ones.

Next ten years as the percentage goes even lower, we would be nearing Indonesia or Philippines.

Meanwhile enjoy your stay and the good time.

On the whole as the Chinese spreads out throughout the world, the average standards of these will have much higher standards of living over others.

The big problem in Malaysia is the government is keep protecting one race and spoon feed them. That is why the malays doesn't grow.

My friend who is the founder of Arab-Malaysian Bank from Dubai. He told me the malays in Malaysia are sucking lazy bastard and he encountered a lot of problems when setting up his first biz in Malaysia. What is your say?

One nation one race = Malaysians, but in Malaysia we don't call ourselves Malaysians, we call ourselves: non-Muslim bumis, Muslim bumis, Indians and Chinese. Can you see the problem here?

I came from Sabah and what I don't like is the government give IC to all those illegal immigrants who are only Muslims from southern Philippines, Pakistan and Indonesia till our population boomed up to 3 millions. Is that fair to the non-Muslims? Why don't the government give IC to the illegal immigrants from Vietnam, Laos and China?

70% crimes in Sabah are contributed by these bunches of culprits. Why is this double standards practice by the Malaysia government?

Why the illegal immigrants from southern Philippines, Pakistan and Indonesia were treated like first class citizens because after they got their IC, they can enjoy the benefits like the malay bumis!

Look at our Umno Youth nowadays, they such as a bunch of racist bastard and they only champion for their malays but they can't rule the multi-racial country because it will definitely fail! God knows!

The funny thing about the malay race is they cannot be shamed into changing, judging from the many scolding from the ex-PM dished out to them.

The Chinese are already immune to Umno usual tirades against the 'pendatang'. They want to continue the NEP beyond year 2020? Go ahead. It doesn't matter anymore. The system is already breaking down.

The malays have to pay for their own university education. The government just can't grant them all free scholarships anymore. The malays have to look for jobs on their own. The overly bloated civil service just can't absorb any more. The malays cannot expect a permanent pension from the government in the future. I think government just can't continue paying out pensions, when the average life expectancy is increasing.

The typical malays have to pay taxes. The dependence on the high-income earners taxes and on the corporate taxes as the primary source of government revenue is driving away foreign investments, as our current corporate tax rate is considered high.

The subsidies and price controls are not working anymore. The government just cannot continue this silly practice or else our neighbours would be enjoying our subsidies. The people may actually start demanding price hikes, just to see dependable supplies.

With tens of thousands of malay contractors dependent primarily on government jobs, the government is dragging themselves into accusations of favouritism and cronyism.

The government doesn't have to get rid of the crutches. There are no more wheelchairs or replacement crutches in the warehouse to replace broken crutches.

In a decade or two from now, the non-malays can just stand back and watch the malays curse their own useless malay leaders.

The Chinese believes that if you take or cheat something that does not belong to you, eventually you will have to repay more than what you have cheated. So, beware of the backlash of dishonesty. Can be very horrible.

The only way to break this cursed situation is to repent and return all that is taken or stolen from the rightful owners.

As we can witness many injustices done in Malaysia on the pretext of making a more balanced society in terms of property and business ownership.

The malays wanted 30% of the stock market but did not realise that when the KLSE took a tumble - they were the hardest hit too. So don't try to out smart God.

Whatever that does not belong to you will eventually be taken away. No matter how greedy or covetous you may be. God knows best!

This is just another example of how sick our present government under BN is.

It makes us all wonder how low can they go before the whole country collapses……….

Malays are more suppressed in their own country by Umno than the suppression suffered by Chinese or Indians. For their pains they are offered the rotten carrots of Ketuanan Melayu and NEP.

The suppression of malays is deep and internal while the suppression of Chinese and Indians is only surface in terms of benefits and material things. That is why some Chinese have the cheek to say that NEP benefits them as it makes them stronger.

The suppression of malays is mental and spiritual enforced by KGB police type tactics. The suppression of malays may be an eternal and permanent one. Umno is a cancer to malay society.

Country IQ (2006)

Hong Kong 108
Singapore 108
North Korea 106 (Dictatorial Regime)
South Korea 106
Japan 105
Peoples Republic of China 105 (Communism)
Republic of China 105
Italy 102
Iceland 101
Mongolia 101

Very interesting - the entire top 7 slots are occupied by yellow skins.

Singapore is a good example, if you give the Chinese a chance, they can do wonder.

The BN politicians do not differentiate between what is kerajaan and negara. Corrupted leader which form the kerajaan (government) is a traitor to its negara (country).

If anybody who thinks that corruption and racial discrimination is not wrong then there will be nothing that is wrong.

This is what actually happening in Umno. They love the two evils:

(i) corruption to enrich themselves (ii) racial discrimination to make them feel good and superior to other races (when they do not know that they still need to be spoon fed and the tongkat) and deceive the poor kampung folks that they are heroes to their race who keep on voting for them.

They are actually robbing the country by making everybody poorer, malays and other races alike. Petrol prices are raised with hundred and one excuse, and tolls are raised without any transparency, and everything has gone up making the poor becoming poorer.

I do not see anything that they can be proud of, and nothing superior about them. Even to rob, they are all given assistance and tongkat to do it by having two set of laws, one for them and one for the ordinary citizens.
